About Lake Level Atlas

Lake Level Atlas brings together measured water levels and daily records for 100 US lakes and reservoirs. Choose a lake to see its latest available measurement, history and links to the source agency.

The lakes span several states, but they are not a representative sample of all US lakes. We show gaps in the record and leave out statistics the available data cannot support.

Measurements can be delayed or revised. Check the source agency’s record before relying on a value. The site does not provide forecasts or safety, navigation, recreation or dam-operation advice.

The publisher uses read-only Google Search Console data to understand how people find the site. Visitors do not sign in with Google. The privacy policy describes this use.
