About this reference

This site presents measured water levels and daily history for a fixed group of 100 US lakes and reservoirs. Each lake has one page containing its latest captured measurement, historical context and source metadata.

The selection spans multiple states and includes cross-state lake identities. It is not a statistically representative national sample. Missing data and unsupported statistics are shown explicitly.

This is a factual reference, not a forecasting or operational service. It does not provide safety, navigation, recreation or dam-operation advice.

The publisher privately uses read-only Google Search Console data to study whether these pages are discovered in search. Visitors do not sign in with Google; the privacy policy describes this use.
